Bread's has an announcement to make! "You got mail!"
After much day dreaming and sketching, I released I forgot something. I haven't introduced the purpose or the artistic concept of this "mail club" going to be. So I'll try my best to wrap my ideas into text here.
What is Mail from Anita?
Mail from Anita is a world-building snail mail project.
Each month, I create a different theme and translate it into physical mail. I want this to be an opportunity to experiment, to learn, and to grow.
Instead of just sending paper, I want to send a story you can hold in your hands. It’s about slowing down, creating intentionally, and giving people something small but meaningful to open. I believe everyone deserves to receive pretty mail.
How is the mail club currently progressing?
I thought this was going to be a faster process — to launch and production for the first subscription — but school has been busier than I expected, so things have been delayed.
For now, I want to focus on the world-building aspect and introduce Bread (the Shiba Inu) more as the mascot for mailfromanita™. I’m planning a small test drop for a limited number of people to get feedback on the quality before an official launch.
